AS A SILKWORM WEAVING & DYING AWAY AMID ITS PERFORMANCE

ZORAN MUTIC - LIKE ALL TRAGEDIES . . .

Like all tragedies, this one too was resisting the placing into words. It resisted until it has appeared a rather small booklet. With the voice by which sometimes earlier spoke Skender, Goran and Nazor about an another tragedy, Melika Salihbeg Bosnawi gave tongue to the wounds of women of Srebrenica. Black and red colours of the powerful illustrations, which accompany the text, emphasise the pain being sobbed by a soul mate. Maybe after poem 'Srebrenica is a falling star' one can not peacefully fall asleep. But it is the least we can do, in the name of an ordinary human solidarity, offer to Srebrenica. And the only thing left, is to believe that their voice will be heard before it sank into oblivion.
